ABOUT HAMI
Hāmī or हामी in Nepali means “We” and for us, “We” means the women in our programmes. Through training programmes and projects initiated by 6° with support from local partners, the women are obtaining the necessary skills to produce beautiful hand-made products that you can purchase.
Furthermore we also support other local producers of high quality products who share 6° mission in creating and providing jobs for women.
OUR PRODUCTS
beautiful handwoven woolen scarves
The scarves are produced by our Nepali partner Trikaya. Trikala was established in 1986 and makes high quality handcrafted fashion apparel and wool products made of sustainably produced natural fibers. The essence of Trikaya’s products is the age-old art of knitting and weaving, hence building value for the women and their families involved in its creation. Trikaya currently employs 30 women.
The scarves are handwoven and made of a mixture of sheep’s wool and acrylic.
Size: 70 x 200 cm and can also be used as wraps.

HAND-MADE NATURAL SOAP
The hand-made natural soap bars are produced by a women’s collective in Chitwan, Nepal. Initially the soap bars will be produced for the Nepali market. Once EU Certification has been obtained, these products will also be available internationally.
